Blog #27 - Windy days at BTL

Last week I wrote about completing the first half of my lesson 10 check, and unfortunately I have to report that I still have not completed the second half of the check. We rescheduled twice now and both days we were unable to fly because of crosswinds. The weather has improved significantly this week and temperatures are in the 70's now, which feels great, however it comes with a lot of wind. When I am trying to complete a check, I think it is best to wait for a great day and really good conditions so I set myself up for success. We are planning on doing it later on in the week so I have a few more days to continue to study and prepare for the flight when it does happen. Hopefully next week I can report that the check is done and we can move onto instrument flying!
