After a long few months of training, remedials, and studying, I have passed my transition course stage check and I am moving on to instrument training! My check went great, and we had the most amazing weather to complete the check in. We did it later in the afternoon when temperatures were in the 70s and there was almost zero wind at BTL. IT was very fun to complete it in these conditions and definitely contributed to the satisfactory result. Although it was not perfect, it was one of the best flights that I have had this year and I felt very confident going into it with the hours of training that I completed to get me ready for it.

I am really looking forward to training for my instrument rating soon. I feel as though this is the most important rating you can get while training to be a commercial pilot. I also feel as though it is more applicable to real world situations and not just maneuvers or pattern work.
