Blog Post #13 - Final Exams next week!

This week I have a full week of work, exam prep, and of course a few flight lessons in there too! Next week is our final exam week, so this week is full of final tests, homework, and quizzes. Some of my classes are online which means the exams are online, but I have a few classes that I will have in person final exams. I also have a full week of flying ahead of me, and trying to get a few lessons in before we go on break for Christmas. Unfortunately we had to cancel a few lessons last week due to weather and plane availability. This coming week I have planned a flight down to South Bend International Airport and hopefully is the weather holds off we will be able to complete the flight. This time of year is kinda strange for college students because it can be stressful trying to finish the semester strong but it is also a really exciting time because we can look forward to going on break! This week is also really busy week for me with work because my team is attending an expo in Grand Rapids, and I am going to be up there between classes and between flights.

A lot of people ask me, why do I still work so much while still in school, and if it adds more stress on top of school. To be honest, it totally adds more stress but it is totally worth it. Paying rent, flight fees, materials for flying, and all of the other costs associated with college can be a lot, and I am so grateful to have a job that I can work remotely and offset some of those costs.
