Blog Post #7 - Fall Break!

This past week was a much needed, and very relaxing week! Although I did not fly for a week, I was able to head back to my house in Fremont, MI and spend some time with family. Fall break this year started on October 19th and went through the weekend to October 23rd. After a ground lesson with my instructor on Tuesday, I was able to head home for the rest of the week. I grew up in Fremont, Michigan which is a very small town compared to Kalamazoo, and it is a town where everyone knows everyone. I am lucky to still be able to work while in school remotely from Kalamazoo, but it is also important to get into the office and work while I'm home on breaks... so that's what I did! I spent my break working and got a lot done while I was home, and as well as spending some time with friends and family. I am ready to get back to school and spend more time with my instructor on my next lessons, but I was so grateful to have this time to regroup and spend some much needed time away from school!
